RecoveryTrack™: Enhancing Client Outcomes through Concurrent Recovery Monitoring

Never has it been more important, or easier, for counselors to incorporate Concurrent Recovery Monitoring into their clinical practice.  The same is true for clinical supervisors who can now use empirical results during supervision  - and for executive staff to justify expenses based on solid measurement.

RecoveryTrack™ is a technology-enabled system that can, with minimal training, assist counselors in tracking client progress through treatment, using results to individualize care and work directly with clients to discuss their progress.  The highly secure and simple-to-use RecoveryTrack also helps managers accumulate the data they need to document services, justifying their funding to those above them.

RecoveryTrack was developed by John Cacciola, Ph.D., Adam C. Brooks, Ph.D. and a team of researchers from the Treatment Research Institute (TRI).  Introduction of RecoveryTrack and other science-based products is one of several ways the independent, non-profit TRI furthers its mission of science-driven transformation of treatment and policy in substance use and abuse.

“Finally there is a web-enabled product that allows substance abuse clients to receive the same type of treatment as those suffering from other chronically relapsing diseases.”
